5/30/2018 0 Comments moasic ( not finished)1) I decided to make my design this way because I thought it would be simple, quick and easy.
2)I was going to do an A for an initial but making the pieces equally straight and that is what got me to m are the m which was easier 3) the easy part was doing an m and decorating it. 3/28/2018 0 Comments paper mache1) the process of the paper mache was that i had to find the shape of what i wanted to make and i used products such as newspapers, and aluminum foil. a substance with flour was made to stick newspaper and paper towels to make the shape hardened , after the shape of the animal is done i painted it.
2)what i liked mostly about my piece and what i think was very succesful was the colors i used on the turtle 3) the thing i had the most difficult on and what i did not like was the shape of the turtle, the shape was a bit crocket, and i do not like the shape of it and it was what i would like to restart on , also the legs of the turtle, i would want to fix that. 3/28/2018 0 Comments inspired artistName of artist: Katie Doka
painting are copenhagan based miniature paintings. the feather substance are built primarily from polymer clays, glass, jewelry wire and lambs wool or cotton with accents of acrylic paint. the reason i liked and got inspired by this artist makes the paintings look very realistic and that the painting focuses on the main image and blurs out the background. 3/20/2018 0 Comments sgraffito1)i got inspired with my piece by the how we live , just wanted to show how it is at day and night.
2) the process of this was getting the clay was getting the clay flat with no air bubbles, then putting wrap on the plate i used and pot the clay here then cut out the extra clay, after that i started designing it when it was hard. 3) a way my piece was successful was the design but what i would fix is making the sun more realistic and the shape of the plate more circular. 3/19/2018 0 Comments monkey head1) christina and felicia were both in my group. we all equally worked on the monkey face, by putting on the viva paper towels and painting the monkey.
2) process of paper mache is building the shape of whatever you chose with whatever you want to use, for example with my project i used plastic bags and paper to fill in the inside and give it a shape, after that i covered it with hard paper and then aluminum foil. add paper again and use your flour mix to make it hard. the next day when its completley dry use the same mix and layer it with viva towels and when your done you can paint it. 3/5/2018 0 Comments tripod mug1.the process of the mug was easy but in order to make the round shape of the mug the clay could not be too wet or too dry then little by little you stat making the stands of the mug and then smooth out and do your design.
2. the style the handle was , was casual i just deciden to make some circle prints with the end of the exacto knife. 3.the thing i found more succesful was the shape of the mug that it wasnt as un equal as i thought. and something i would work better on is the colors. 4:clay slab is a piece of clay with airbubbles |
